Bibelot is an online magazine celebrating handmade, ethical and beautiful. It is the brain-child of Chloe Owens and it is born out of the need to have a platform full of useful content that helps live a crafty, environmentally aware and caring lifestyle for both men & women.
Chloe had a vision for the magazine’s visual style and really wanted to put that across. We also worked on the magazine’s strategy together and worked on pitches, which was a great experience, getting to learn about the world of the magazine industry.
Working closely with Chloe, we created a typographic logo that can be read as modern, crafty yet still has a retro look. The colour palette is heavily influenced by 60’s patterns and the magazine layouts are inspired by 20’s, 30’s, 40’s magazine designs.
