Talking is my thing

For nearly a decade, I have shared insights as a speaker across the creative and tech industries. My approach is simple: everything I bring to the stage is rooted in real-life experience and honest reflection. I don’t do corporate jargon. My style is relaxed, conversational, and completely down-to-earth.

  • What I am speaking about right now
While my background covers a lot of ground, my current talks focus deeply on where the design industry is heading and how we can lead with purpose. Right now, I am focusing on:
  • Validation in Product Design: Moving past assumptions to build early-stage digital products that solve real human problems.
  • AI Politics in Design & Leadership: How to navigate massive technical shifts responsibly without losing human insight, empathy, or ethics.
  • Inclusivity in Design: Building systems that are genuinely usable, accessible, and safe, making sure empathy sits at the heart of every single choice.
  • Digital Sustainability: Looking past the screen to understand the hidden environmental cost of our technology and learning how to design cleaner digital products.

Because I have worked across almost every corner of the design world over the last twenty years, I have a spoken on a  wide range topics. My talks have covered: UX design & strategy, WordPress specialism, branding & digital presence, community-building, amplifying black voices in tech & design.

I have had the privilege of speaking at a mix of major industry conferences, universities, and independent creative gatherings, including: UX London, WordCamp (Dublin, Brighton, and Bristol), UX Minimal, UX Wales, CreativeMornings, WOW Festival, Pecha Kucha, Cardiff University, and various independent gatherings.

Why do I speak?
I speak because I truly believe in the power of sharing our honest stories. I want to see more women thrive in creative leadership, and I want young girls from diverse backgrounds to look at these industries, believe in themselves, and see what is completely possible. For me, stepping onto a stage is a chance to reflect, connect, and hopefully inspire someone else along the way.
