Background
Camino is a Spanish Restaurant located in King’s Cross, London. The owner was inspired to open a Spanish restaurant from his long journeys to Spain, which is why the restaurant was named Camino, meaning path/journey.
Challenge
Melin was assigned to work with the team at The Formation Creative Agency. The brief was to create a full branding including the interior design of the new restaurant.
Solution
The vision for the branding was derived from the idea of a journey by using the name as our core inspiration. A logo and type was designed as well as menus and signage, together with coffee mugs and paper cups. The Formation team were responsible for the sourcing of all materials. The design team collaborated with an interior designer in choosing materials that complimented the furniture & decor.
The team worked closely with the client to translate his memories and experience of Spain into the restaurant space.
